Each year, the firm appears in approximately 100 appellate cases in state and federal courts, resulting in dozens of appellate decisions per year. The firm represents clients in a wide variety of civil appeals, such as tort, medical negligence, insurer bad faith, family law, probate, commercial disputes, insurance coverage, and Engle progeny cigarette liability claims. The wide variety of claims we handle, along with the high volume of cases each year, means that one of our five attorneys probably has experience in whatever issue your civil case involves.

With five attorneys and four staff paralegals and legal assistants, Burlington & Rockenbach, P.A. is also able to provide litigation support in the trial courts. Our attorneys appear frequently in trial court matters to research and argue dispositive motions, discovery issues, and all other issues that arise before, during, and after trial. Trial attorneys have come to rely on our experience to create a winning litigation strategy, which frequently means we are engaged at the very start of the litigation process. Doing so helps our clients avoid problems and makes sure the case is properly prepared for an appeal should that become necessary.
