Burlington & Rockenbach Secures Significant Victory in the Florida Supreme Court
Partners Phil Burlington, Bard Rockenbach, and Andrew Harris secured a monumental decision in the area of insurance bad faith from the Florida Supreme Court. In Harvey v. GEICO, the Court held that an insurance company had breached its duty of good-faith towards its insured in handling a claim after a fatal car accident. The Supreme Court’s decision clarified the law on insurance companies’ duties towards their insureds.
